YOUTH PARLIAMENT-2025

The Social Science Department organised a Youth Parliament session for Classes 6 to 8 with the theme “Education as a Matter of Right.” Students enacted the roles of Speaker, Ministers, and Opposition, creating an authentic parliamentary atmosphere. They debated the need for quality education, addressing issues such as infrastructure gaps, the digital divide, teacher shortages, and inclusion. Proposals included higher budget allocation, skill-based learning, mental health support, and innovative teaching methods. The Opposition questioned implementation, while the ruling side defended policies. The session ended with a resolution affirming education as a fundamental right. It successfully built confidence, awareness, and civic responsibility among students.


NATIONAL CONSTITUTION DAY-SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

On Constitution Day, students presented a thoughtful and well-prepared assembly in the school amphitheatre. The programme opened with an introduction to the importance of 26 November 1949, the day the Constitution of India was adopted. Students highlighted core values like justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, explaining how these principles continue to shape democratic conduct and guide citizens.

A key highlight was an insightful speech that reflected on the vision of the Constitution’s framers, the responsibility of citizens in protecting democratic ideals, and the relevance of constitutional morality in today’s society. The message encouraged the audience to reflect on their duties as aware and responsible individuals.

The assembly concluded with a pledge to uphold constitutional values, making the event meaningful and inspiring.


MOBILE AWARENESS ACTIVITY

Pre-Nursery students participated in a Mobile Awareness Activity on the theme Healthy Mind, Healthy Eyes at New Heights School. The session aimed to build early awareness about limited screen time and healthy digital habits. Teachers and students presented a simple scene enactment showing the effects of excessive mobile use and the importance of balanced routines, outdoor play, and proper eye care. The activity helped young learners understand the value of using mobiles responsibly while keeping their minds active and their eyes healthy.


Evacuation Drill and Disaster Management Awareness Program at New Heights School

To create awareness and prepare students to face emergencies with confidence and presence of mind, New Heights School conducted a Disaster Management and Evacuation Drill for Classes VI to IX under the guidance of the Social Science Department.

As part of the Disaster Management Module stipulated by CBSE, students were guided on how to tackle disasters effectively, manage emergency situations, and minimize the loss of life and property. Teachers explained different types of disasters—both natural and man-made—and discussed practical safety measures to be followed during such events.

A mock evacuation drill was also organized to familiarize students with the correct procedures to follow in case of an emergency. The students participated with great enthusiasm, learning how to remain calm, protect themselves, and assist others during situations like earthquakes, fires, or floods.

The session highlighted the importance of alertness, teamwork, and preparedness in ensuring safety during unforeseen circumstances. It was a valuable and insightful experience that strengthened students’ understanding of safety protocols and disaster resilience.


GANDHI JAYANTI CELEBRATIONS AT GANDHI BHAWAN

On the solemn occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, New Heightians paid a heartfelt tribute to the Father of the Nation at Gandhi Bhawan. With their soulful bhajans, the students filled the atmosphere with devotion and reverence, spreading Gandhiji’s timeless message of peace, unity, and harmony.

The celebration served as a reminder of Mahatma Gandhi’s enduring values of truth and non-violence, inspiring students to follow his principles in their daily lives. The event concluded with a collective pledge to uphold his vision of a just, compassionate, and harmonious society.


INTER-HOUSE DOCU DRAMA COMPETITION

A Docu-Drama Activity was conducted for Classes VI to XII on the theme of social issues from the past to the present. Organized as an Inter House Competition, the event challenged students to not only showcase the issue through dance, drama, and documentary but also to present their research and supporting evidence.

The young participants demonstrated creativity, critical thinking, and powerful stage presence while highlighting relevant social concerns. It turned out to be a highly engaging and tough competition among the houses, with each team bringing a unique perspective and impactful presentation.


INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The Independence Day celebration at New Heights School began with the flag hoisting ceremony, led by respected Principal Mrs. Vinita Dhankar in the presence of staff and students. As the tricolour unfurled, the atmosphere was filled with pride and reverence. The soulful rendition of the National Anthem followed, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made for the nation’s freedom and evoking a deep sense of patriotism.

A vibrant cultural program reflected the spirit of unity and sacrifice. The highlights included folk dances, patriotic skits, a Hindi speech, an inter-house dance competition, orchestra performances, Nukkad Natak, and a Kavi Sammelan. The primary students added charm with their enthusiastic presentations, while the senior students delivered impactful historical and patriotic musical skits showcasing India’s freedom struggle and the visionary dreams of great leaders.

The celebration was graced by Director Ma’am, Mrs. Nami Jain, whose presence added to the grandeur of the event. Principal Mrs. Vinita Dhankar addressed the gathering, emphasizing that true freedom lies in acceptance, encouragement, and upliftment. She inspired everyone to uphold unity, respect, and responsibility as the real essence of independence.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving everyone inspired with patriotic fervour and pride in being part of a free and vibrant nation.


HAND PAINTING ACTIVITY

Our Pre-nursery students showed their love and patriotism for their country through the Tri Colour Hand Printing Activity. Using the colours of our national flag, they created beautiful peacocks while learning about India's rich heritage and culture.

The activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and patriotism in our young learners. They had a wonderful time making art with their hands, exploring colours, and developing their imagination.

TRICOLOUR BADGE MAKING

Our Pre-Primary students at New Heights School held their patriotism high by making Tricolour Badges. Using saffron, white, and green glitter sheets, they crafted beautiful badges while learning about India’s national flag and its significance.

The activity encouraged a sense of patriotism and gave students an opportunity to explore colours, practice sticking, and enjoy creating their own badges. We are proud of our little artists for their enthusiasm and creativity.


RAKHI MAKING ACTIVITY

Students of Grade I and II at New Heights School enjoyed a joyful Rakhi Making Activity on 31st July 2025. Using craft materials like colorful threads, beads, and decorative items, they created beautiful rakhis with love and creativity.

The activity encouraged artistic expression and introduced the cultural significance of Raksha Bandhan in a fun, hands-on way. It also helped improve fine motor skills and sparked enthusiasm for traditional celebrations.


Good Habits Activity

At NHS, we believe that nurturing good habits from an early age lays the foundation for a healthy and successful future. Our recent Good Habits Activity for primary students was a fun and interactive way to instill essential life skills.

Through engaging activities, our young learners explored the importance of personal hygiene, healthy eating, regular exercise, and kindness. From crafting colorful habit charts to participating in role-playing scenarios, the children enthusiastically embraced the lessons.

By making learning enjoyable, we're helping our students internalize these positive behaviors, setting them on a path toward lifelong well-being.

Earth Day Celebration

The Social Science Department of New Heights School organized a special assembly on 22nd April 2025 to celebrate 'Earth Day' and spread awareness about environmental protection.

The assembly began with a prayer and followed by number of mesmerizing activities spreading the message to save our Mother Earth.    
Miss. Gauri Mishra of class XA delivered a thought-provoking speech highlighting the importance of preserving our planet and adopting eco-friendly habits. This was followed by a beautiful poem recitation by Miss. Lakshita of class XI humanities that expressed love and concern for Mother Earth. The highlight of the assembly was an engaging skit performed by students. The skit ended with a strong message on sustainable living and saving the environment. It inspired everyone to reflect on their responsibilities towards Mother Earth.

The assembly concluded with words of wisdom by Principal Ma'am, appreciating the efforts of the students and encouraging everyone to contribute to a greener and cleaner Earth.


Parents’ Orientation Program

A Parents’ Orientation Program was held at New Heights School to welcome parents for the new academic session. The session introduced the curriculum, teaching methods, school policies, and daily routines. Teachers also shared insights on supporting children’s development at home.

The event began with the lighting of the diya, symbolizing wisdom. It was followed by a cultural presentation, including a welcome dance by the tiny toddlers. Parents thoroughly enjoyed the program, appreciating the warm welcome and lively performances, which strengthened the bond between home and school.

A Day Out- Primary School

on 03-02-2025 students of the Primary School visited ITI and Company Garden as part of an educational trip . The visit was both enjoyable and enriching for the children. At ITI, they explored various aspects of technology and industrial work, while the Company Garden provided a relaxing atmosphere. The children not only enjoyed the beauty of nature but also had fun on the swings, making the day even more exciting. The trip was a perfect blend of learning and play, allowing students to gain new knowledge while enjoying themselves with their classmates. It was a memorable outing that gave them a refreshing break from their routine.

A rally on Noble Cause

The Republic Day celebration continued with a meaningful rally organized by New Heightians. The students enthusiastically participated in the rally, which started at Cinema Chauraha and made its way to DM Chauraha, covering several important stops along the route. The rally was a vibrant display of unity, patriotism, and community spirit. The event reached its conclusion at Ram Janki Mandir, where the students got the chance to connect to the society, taking part in community service for a noble cause by donating essential items for daily use. This act of charity highlighted the students’ commitment to helping those in need and promoting social responsibility. The rally not only celebrated Republic Day but also taught the values of kindness, generosity, and service to the community.

TABLE RECOGNISING ACTIVITY

Little New Heightians enjoyed a fun-filled and enriching learning experience through an engaging Table Recognition Activity conducted for our KG students at New Heights School. The activity aimed to help young learners identify and understand tables in an interactive and playful way, strengthening their observation skills and foundational learning concepts.

Through hands-on tasks and enthusiastic participation, the children explored shapes, numbers, and real-life connections, making the session both meaningful and enjoyable. It was delightful to see our tiny learners actively involved, confident, and curious throughout the activity.


Proud Moment for New Heightians – SOF Olympiad Achievements

New Heightians once again brought laurels to the school by achieving Gold Medals of Distinction and Excellence in the IEO (International English Olympiad) and NSO (National Science Olympiad) conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation.

The Medal Presentation Ceremony was a moment of pride and celebration, with the joy and sense of achievement clearly visible on the smiling faces of our young achievers. Their dedication, curiosity, and hard work truly made the school proud.

The Principal congratulated all the students for their meritorious efforts and appreciated the constant support and encouragement of parents in nurturing their children’s academic excellence.


PANORAMA EXHIBITION-2025

At New Heights School, the Panorama Exhibition and Winter Carnival beautifully showcased the talent, confidence, and learning spirit of our Primary and Junior students. From language skills in the English Department to cultural expression in the Hindi Department, every exhibit reflected curiosity, innovation, and joyful learning. The Junior Wing Exhibition featured creative models and interactive games across Maths, Science, Languages, and Environmental Studies. Displays highlighted renewable energy, water conservation, early human life, Mohanjo-daro, healthy habits, daily diets, transport, eco-friendly dustbins, and water pollution. Language concepts such as types of sentences, संज्ञा, adjective tree, prepositions, and क्रिया were explained creatively, while games like string hockey and buzzer games made learning engaging. The Primary Wing’s ‘Wildlife Extravaganza’ further enriched the experience through animal habitats and life cycles.


MATHS ACTIVITY-JUNIOR SCHOOL

Junior school students at New Heights School enthusiastically participated in an engaging Maths activity titled “Build Decimal Numbers”. The hands-on session strengthened their understanding of place value and decimals by encouraging them to construct, compare, and interpret decimal numbers using number cards and manipulatives. Students explored how digits change value based on their position, allowing them to visualize mathematical concepts more clearly. The activity created an exciting and supportive learning environment where learners developed confidence, accuracy, and curiosity. Overall, the session made learning Maths fun, practical, and deeply meaningful for every child.


Olympiad Week at New Heights School

New Heightians enthusiastically participated in the SOF Olympiads and the Green Olympiad last week. Our students participated in the IEO, IMO, and NSO, gaining valuable exposure, real-time learning, and analytical skills across English, Mathematics, and Science.

The Green Olympiad by TERI further inspired students to deepen their understanding of environmental issues and think creatively for sustainable solutions.

At New Heights School, we continue to encourage students to participate in such Olympiads for the enrichment of subject knowledge and to build awareness about our environment.

 


WILD CREATIONS! – ANIMAL MASK COLOURING ACTIVITY

The Pre-Primary students at New Heights School had a roaringly fun time during the Animal Mask Colouring Activity. Using their imagination and vibrant colours, the young learners brought animal masks to life while learning about different creatures of the wild.

The activity fostered creativity, fine motor skills, and curiosity about wildlife, helping students connect art with learning. The classroom buzzed with excitement as children coloured, imagined, and explored the fascinating world of animals.

The school is proud of its young artists for their enthusiasm and creativity, which made the day both joyful and educational.

KNOWING PET & WILD ANIMALS YOUNG ONES

Pre-Primary students participated in an engaging activity on the theme Knowing Pet and Wild Animals and Their Young Ones. The little learners enthusiastically identified animals along with their young ones, enhancing their observation and vocabulary skills.

As part of the activity, students also drew faces of different animals, showcasing their creativity and imagination. The exercise not only strengthened their understanding of the animal world but also encouraged artistic expression. It was a joyful learning experience filled with fun and excitement.


EMERGENCY NUMBER ACTIVITY

Our KG students took their first step towards safety by learning important emergency and helpline numbers today!

From 🚓 100 - Police to 🚒 101 - Fire Brigade, 🚑 102 - Ambulance, and 👧 1098 - Child Helpline, our tiny tots are now a little more alert and prepared.

Learning these numbers in a fun, interactive way helps children understand when and how to ask for help in an emergency. Our KG students took their first step towards safety by learning important emergency and helpline numbers today!

 


Subtraction Activity

Our Grade I students at New Heights School had a great time during the Subtraction Activity conducted on 25th July 2025! 

Using dry clay, they explored the concept of subtraction in a fun, hands-on manner. 

This engaging activity helped students understand the relationship between numbers, develop problem-solving skills, and build a strong math foundation.

With interactive exercises and real-life examples, our young mathematicians practiced subtracting in meaningful ways.

RAINBOW CRAFT ACTIVITY

Our little artists at New Heights School had a blast creating rainbows on 23rd July 2025!

The Grade PG and Nursery kids enjoyed a fun-filled Rainbow Making Craft Activity, exploring colors and creativity. Using colorful paper strips, they crafted beautiful rainbows that reflected their unique imagination.

The activity not only encouraged creativity but also introduced children to colors and their sequence. It helped develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and confidence as they experimented with different materials and techniques in a joyful, hands-on environment.


SANGYA ACTIVITY- LEARNING NOUNS WITH FUN!

Grade II students at New Heights School explored the world of संज्ञा (Nouns) through an exciting and interactive activity!

From identifying व्यक्ति (Person), स्थान (Place), वस्तु (Thing), और भावना (Feeling) to using flashcards, name tags, and classroom objects — our little language learners had a blast while discovering the types of Sangya in Hindi.

The activity was filled with fun and creative teaching methodology, helping children understand and remember this core grammar concept in a joyful way.

 


STORY TIME

On 11th July 2025, the Pre-Nursery students of New Heights School, Hardoi participated in a joyful and engaging Story Time activity. The story chosen for the day was the well-loved fable "The Lion and the Mouse."

To enhance the storytelling experience, props such as a lion, a mouse, and a tree were used. These simple props helped capture the children’s attention and made it easier for them to understand and enjoy the story. Although there was no jungle setup, the creative use of individual props brought the characters to life in the classroom.

The children listened attentively, participated with curiosity, and enjoyed the moral of the story — that even the smallest friend can make a big difference. It was a joyful and enriching experience that encouraged imagination, listening skills, and early language development.


Paper Mosaic Activity

A fun and creative Paper Mosaic Activity was conducted for Class 1 students at NHS on 8th July 2025. The young learners enthusiastically participated, using colorful pieces of paper to create beautiful mosaic artwork. The activity aimed to enhance fine motor skills, improve concentration, and encourage artistic expression among students.

Teachers guided the children step-by-step, helping them explore their creativity while learning about shapes, patterns, and colors. It was a joyful experience for all, leaving students proud of their vibrant creations.


FELICITATION OF GOLD MEDALIST - SOF INTERNATIONAL MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD

A felicitation program was organized at New Heights School, Hardoi, to honour our Gold Medalist in the SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO). COLOUR MATCHING ACTIVITY

Our little learners at NHS had a delightful time exploring the world of colours through a vibrant Colour Matching Activity! This hands-on session was designed to help our pre-primary kids identify, name, and match colours using playful objects and creative materials. Our tiny tots engaged enthusiastically while developing their cognitive and fine motor skills. MATCHING THE ALPHABETS

A fun-filled and educational Match the Alphabet activity was conducted in the Pre-Primary Wing of New Heights School, Hardoi, on 26th April. The objective was to enhance alphabet recognition and reinforce early literacy skills in an engaging manner. Through this interactive learning experience, children were able to connect capital and small letters with ease. The young learners participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the activity, making it a joyful and enriching experience.


NO JUNK FOOD ACTIVITY

On 12th April, 2025 our young learners explored the world of nutrition through a fun and engaging activity on Healthy Food vs Junk Food !Students participated in sorting games, interactive discussions, and hands-on crafts to learn the difference between foods that fuel our bodies and those that should be enjoyed in moderation. They were excited to identify their favorite healthy snacks, learn about balanced diets, and understand why it’s important to make smart food choices. Activities like this help build lifelong habits and encourage kids to take care of their bodies starting at a young age. We are so proud of their enthusiasm and curiosity!


BENEFITS OF FRUITS ACTIVITY

A lively and informative "Benefits of Fruits" activity was conducted in the Pre-Primary Wing of New Heights School, Hardoi, to help children understand the importance of eating fruits. Students brought fresh fruits from home, spoke about their advantages, and enjoyed eating them together. The activity encouraged healthy eating habits and helped children learn about the nutritional value of different fruits in a fun and engaging way.

Jump on Number Line Activity

On 19th April 2025, a Jump on Number Line activity was organized in the Pre-Primary Wing. Children enthusiastically jumped on a floor number line while counting aloud, helping them understand number order and sequencing. The activity combined physical movement with early math learning, making it both fun and educational. It also supported their gross motor development and made number recognition an enjoyable experience


Hindi Vilom Shabd Activity

A Hindi Vilom Shabd (opposite words) activity was conducted on 19th April 2025 for the Pre-Nursery students. The activity aimed to introduce young learners to basic Hindi vocabulary through fun and interactive methods. Children were engaged in matching opposite words using colorful flashcards and playful examples. This session helped enhance their language development and understanding of everyday words in Hindi. It was a joyful learning experience that sparked curiosity and interest in the Hindi language.

Action Word activity

An “Action Word” activity was conducted in the Pre-Primary wing to help students understand action words through fun participation. Children actively performed actions like cry, play, laugh, jump, clap, read, walk, anddrink, learning the meaning of each word by doing it themselves. This hands-on approach made the concept easy and enjoyable to grasp. The activity not only enhanced their vocabulary but also improved their ability to express themselves through words and actions. It was a lively and educational session


Farewell 2026

A memorable farewell for our Grade XII students of Session 2025–26 was held on 3rd February, lovingly hosted by Grade XI. The celebration featured vibrant cultural performances, heartfelt memories, and a soulful song that made the day truly special.
The Special Award Ceremony, graced by Director Ma’am Mrs. Nami Jain Kapoor and Principal Mrs. Vinita Dhankar, added glamour and pride to the occasion.
With blessings from teachers and an inspiring message delivered by the Principal, the celebration concluded with lunch and a joyful dance party.


VIBRANT HOLI CELEBRATIONS AT THE PRE-PRIMARY WING

Primary students of New Heights School celebrated Holi with immense joy, vibrant colours, and radiant smiles. The young learners embraced the festive spirit with enthusiasm, filling the campus with happiness and positivity.

DIWALI ACTIVITY BY JUNIOR SCHOOL NEW HEIGHTIANS: DIYA DECORATION & LANTERN MAKING

The energetic New Heightians of Grades III to V took centre stage in the Diwali celebrations with a vibrant session of diya decoration and lantern making. Their creativity and colour-filled designs transformed the school into a radiant festival of light, as every corner of NHS glowed with their imagination and joy.

Each student showcased remarkable enthusiasm and artistic flair, crafting beautiful diyas and lanterns that reflected the true spirit of Diwali. The activity not only celebrated creativity but also encouraged teamwork, patience, and festive expression.

A heartfelt appreciation goes out to all the young participants for bringing brightness and cheer to the celebration, truly lighting up the school with their joyful spirit and creativity.


GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATION

Our little ones lit up the stage with their heartfelt performances during the Ganesh Chaturthi special assembly. Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, they danced joyfully to devotional tunes, recited melodious poems, and sang songs in praise of Lord Ganesha. Their enthusiasm, innocence, and expressive performances created a festive spirit that filled the atmosphere with joy and devotion. The celebration became truly memorable, leaving the audience with smiles and admiration for the children’s talent and their love for tradition.


JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

Janmashtami was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm by the Pre-Primary students. The little ones presented delightful dances and role plays, enacting scenes from the life of Lord Krishna.

Dressed in colourful traditional attire, the children beautifully portrayed Krishna, Radha, and other characters, filling the atmosphere with festive spirit. The performances not only entertained the audience but also helped the young learners understand the cultural and spiritual significance of the festival.

The celebration was a blend of devotion, creativity, and excitement, making it a memorable experience for all.


MATKI DECORATION ACTIVITY

Our Primary students (Class II) at New Heights School enjoyed the Matki Decoration Activity held to celebrate Janmashtami. With great enthusiasm, they decorated Matkis using vibrant colours, stickers, mirrors, laces, and other creative materials, showcasing their imagination and festive spirit. The activity not only allowed them to express their artistic skills but also helped them understand the cultural and spiritual significance of Janmashtami and the joy of Lord Krishna’s birth. It was truly a meaningful and joyful experience for our young learners.


FLUTE DECORATION ACTIVITY

Our Primary students at New Heights School celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm through a creative Flute Decoration Activity. FOUNDATION DAY

New Heights School marked a significant milestone in its glorious journey of achievements, success, and growth during its Foundation Day Celebration. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a beautiful prayer song. The program featured heartfelt speeches by students who have spent a decade at the school, sharing their experiences and reflections. A prayer dance, an energetic group dance performance by the junior school girls, a foot-tapping action song by the pre-primary kids, solo dance and a duet song all conveyed a powerful message: New Heightians are always ready to soar to greater heights. The Principal delivered a special address, expressing gratitude to the Founders, Directors, Parents, Teachers, and Students for their invaluable contributions in making this day memorable. The celebration highlighted the school's journey of excellence and its commitment to fostering a bright future for all its students.

With the divine blessings of Goddess Saraswati 🙏, the day began on an auspicious note, filling the atmosphere with positivity and grace. Our tiny tots were greeted with cheerful smiles, welcome cards, chocolates, and candies 🍫🍬, making their first day truly special.

The campus echoed with laughter, music, and delightful dance moments, as our young learners enjoyed every bit of the celebration. Their innocence, excitement, and cuteness added charm to the entire event💖

Our dedicated teachers and staff showered them with love, care, and warmth, ensuring that each child felt comfortable, happy, and at home.

PRE-PRIMARY KIDS FUN ACTIVITIES

Our Playgroup and Nursery little stars had a joyful time participating in engaging physical activities aimed at improving coordination, balance, and concentration. The young learners eagerly took part in games such as balancing the ball, plate-and-ball balance, placing balls on cones, and rolling balls across cones.

These lively activities filled the environment with smiles and laughter while strengthening motor skills, focus, and teamwork through meaningful play. It was truly heartwarming to see our tiny learners explore new challenges, enjoy themselves, and grow with confidence.


CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION-2025

Children's Day celebration was a special one at NHS, as teachers took centre stage to make the day memorable for every student. The special assembly in the amphitheatre was filled with laughter and joy. Talented teachers dazzled everyone with dance performances, humorous compering, group dances, lively skits, and heartfelt poems and songs. Their performances brought smiles to every child’s face. Back in the classrooms, the fun continued as teachers organised games, distributed gifts, and treated students, turning the day into a lively celebration full of bonding and laughter. The Principal encouraged everyone — teachers and students alike — to keep learning, cherish the beautiful phase of childhood, and uphold the inspiring vision of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, who believed that “the children of today will make the India of tomorrow”. It was a truly special day, reminding us that through care, joy, and education, we are building a brighter future together.


TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION -2024

Teachers’ Day was celebrated with joy and enthusiasm at New Heights School. Students organised activities to honour their teachers and make the day memorable. The celebration included a graceful ramp walk by teachers, while children added liveliness through fun games, energetic dances, and a creative enactment that brought joy and laughter. A speech on Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan highlighted the significance of the day.

Adding to the spirit of expression, a Hindi Kavi Sammelan was organised, where students recited self-composed poems. The celebration concluded with an encouraging address by Principal Mrs Vinita Dhankar, who appreciated the efforts of students and expressed gratitude to the teaching fraternity.


UTSAV – A Celebration of Light and Joy at New Heights School

The youngest New Heightians from PG to Grade II lit up the stage with their delightful performances during UTSAV – A Celebration of Light and Joy.

From the divine rhythm of the Hanuman Chalisa to an enlightening depiction of the Four Yugs, a vibrant Ramayan skit, and energetic Ganesha and Welcome dances, every act reflected festive joy and cultural richness.

Adding to the celebration, enthusiastic parents—both mothers and fathers—graced the stage with graceful dance performances and a lively ramp walk, making the event truly special.

The NHS family came together to light Diyas, marking the conclusion of this colourful celebration. Principal Ms. Vinita Dhankar appreciated the young performers and parents for their wonderful participation and extended warm wishes for a safe, green, and happy Diwali to all New Heightians.


CELEBRATION OF RAIN FESTIVAL

Our little stars at NHS turned a rainy day into a delightful celebration! Dressed in vibrant raincoats and carrying colorful umbrellas, the children embraced the monsoon magic with infectious enthusiasm. The pitter-patter of raindrops set the rhythm as they danced and sang, transforming the day into a joyful symphony of laughter and music.

From splashing in puddles to twirling under umbrellas, every moment was filled with joy and camaraderie. The Rainy Festival was not just about enjoying the weather; it was about creating memories, fostering creativity, and celebrating the simple pleasures of life.


Obstacle Path Sports Activity

A fun and engaging obstacle path activity was organized for our Kindergarten (KG) students as part of their sports curriculum. The little ones participated enthusiastically, making their way through various obstacles designed to enhance their motor skills, balance, and coordination.

The obstacle course included simple challenges such as walking along marked paths, jumping over small hurdles, and navigating around cones. Each student was encouraged to complete the course with confidence and joy, promoting physical fitness in a playful and supportive environment.

It was a delightful event filled with energy, laughter, and lots of cheering. The activity not only helped build physical strength and coordination but also boosted the children's confidence and team spirit.


INTER-HOUSE SWIMMING COMPETITION

The much-awaited Inter-House Swimming Competition was held under the banner of the Sports Fiesta, showcasing the strength, stamina, and sportsmanship of the young swimmers. Participants from the Junior, Middle, and Senior categories competed with great enthusiasm and zeal in various swimming events such as Freestyle, Kicking, Breaststroke, Backstroke, Butterfly Stroke, and Mixed Relay.

The poolside was abuzz with excitement as each swimmer displayed remarkable skill, confidence, and determination, earning loud cheers from their housemates. The competition not only tested physical endurance but also highlighted the spirit of teamwork and healthy rivalry among the houses.

The event concluded with applause and appreciation for all the participants who made waves with their talent and dedication, truly making the Sports Fiesta Swimming Meet a memorable and thrilling experience.

The Inter-House Rangoli Making Competition at New Heights School filled the campus with festive beauty and creative flair. Students from all houses participated with great enthusiasm, designing intricate rangolis using dry colours, flowers, and diyas arranged in artistic patterns that reflected the true spirit of Diwali.

Senior students from Grades IX to XII took centre stage in the Inter-House House Post Decoration Competition, showcasing elegance and innovation under the theme of Diwali Celebration. Each house decorated its post in front of the academic block with a perfect blend of creativity, cultural symbols, and festive energy.

The decorations reflected the true essence of Diwali — harmony, unity, and celebration — making the school campus glow with enthusiasm and festive splendour. The teamwork and dedication of the senior students turned the competition into a memorable visual treat.

Participants transformed the main glass walls into vibrant canvases, beautifully reflecting the theme of Diwali through colour, creativity, and imagination.

Inter-House Sports Fiesta

The Inter-House Sports Fiesta kicked off at New Heights School on 4th October with high energy and unstoppable enthusiasm.
Students from Junior, Middle, and Senior categories showcased their talent and team spirit in a series of exciting games — Football, Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, and Swimming during the first week.
Each match was filled with thrill, cheers, and true sportsmanship as our young athletes gave their best to bring glory to their houses.


PUPPET SHOW-STORY TELLING COMPETITION

An Inter House Puppet Show on Folk Storytelling in English was conducted for the junior classes. The activity aimed to develop creativity, imagination, and communication skills among the students while reviving the traditional art of storytelling.

The children used stick puppets, hand puppets, and character puppets to present folk tales in an engaging manner. With expressive voices and lively actions, they brought the stories to life, leaving the audience both entertained and enriched with moral values.

The competition encouraged confidence, teamwork, and expression, making it a joyful and memorable experience for the young learners.


INTER HOUSE HINDI RECITATION COMPETITION

An Inter-House Hindi Poem Recitation Activity was conducted for the junior classes. The children enthusiastically recited patriotic poems in Hindi, expressing their love and respect for the nation with confidence and emotion.

The competition was judged on the basis of theme, costume, confidence, performance, expressions, and pronunciation. Young participants impressed the audience with heartfelt recitations and expressive delivery.

The activity not only strengthened their oratory skills but also nurtured pride, unity, and patriotism among the students.


INTER-HOUSE HISTORICAL SKIT COMPETITION

The senior students of Grades IX to XII brought history alive on stage in the Inter-House Historical Skit Competition. Through powerful performances, they depicted significant chapters of India’s past – Shivaji the Great, the Kargil War, the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, the Independence Struggle, and the Partition.

The event turned into a mesmerizing journey through time, filled with emotions, patriotism, and inspiration. Each skit reflected the courage, sacrifices, and resilience that had shaped our nation.


INTER-HOUSE NUKKAD NATAK COMPETITION

Junior school students of Grades 3 to 5 showcased their creativity and talent in the Inter House Nukkad Natak Competition. With powerful performances on socially relevant themes such as Save Environment – Save Earth, Girl Child Education, Save Water – Save Life, and Cleanliness, the young actors inspired everyone with their confidence and impactful messages.


INTER HOUSE FOLK DANCE COMPETITION

The Inter House Folk Dance Competition was a vibrant celebration of India’s cultural diversity. Students presented energetic folk dances from different states, each performance reflecting rhythm, colour, and tradition. From the graceful Kumaoni dance of Uttarakhand to the lively beats of Maharashtrian folk traditions and soulful Jharkhandi forms, the young performers took the audience on a cultural journey across India. Their costumes, expressions, and coordination highlighted the true spirit of folk artistry.

Inter-House English poem Recitation

An Inter-House English poem Recitation Competition was held at New Heights School on 5th May 2025, in the school Amphitheatre. Students from all four houses—Emerald, Pearl, Ruby and Sapphire—participated with great enthusiasm. Participants recited a variety of poems, showcasing excellent voice modulation, expression, and pronunciation. The event aimed at enhancing students' speaking skills and instilling confidence. The judges appreciated the efforts and creativity of all the participants. In the end, Emerald House emerged as the winner, followed closely by Ruby, Sapphire and Pearl House.

Inter House Competition :Math-a-thon Relay 
The Inter-House Math-a-thon Relay was held on 3rd May 2025 in the school Amphitheatre to encourage logical thinking, teamwork and a love for mathematics among students. Participants from all four houses enthusiastically took part in various rounds, including mental math, maths scavenger hunt,rapid-fire questions, and maths musical chair.
The event witnessed active involvement and healthy competition, with each house showcasing excellent mathematical skills and team spirit. The Emerald emerged as the winner, closely followed by the Pearl,Ruby and Sapphire houses.
The activity was a great success, promoting not only academic skills but also confidence and collaboration among students.


Kahaniyon Ka Safar – A Hindi Activity

To celebrate the richness of Hindi literature and spark imagination among young learners, the Junior Wing organized “Kahaniyon Ka Safar” on 7th May 2025. This engaging activity aimed to introduce students to the magic of storytelling in a fun and interactive way.

Students took part in various creative expressions such as story narration, puppet shows, dramatization, and collaborative story-making. The event encouraged them to use their imagination, improve their language skills, and gain confidence in public speaking.

It was a joyful and enriching experience that left a lasting impression on the hearts and minds of the young participants.


INTER-HOUSE HELPING HANDS-CRAFTY HANDS COMPETITION

Our Grade III-V students showcased their artistic skills and eco-friendly spirit in the Inter-House "Helping Hands-Crafty Hands " recycled craft competition at New Heights School. Students transformed discarded materials into stunning creations, promoting environmental awareness and creativity. Congratulations to all participants and winners! We're proud of their innovative thinking and commitment to sustainability.


INTER HOUSE WRITING COMPETITION

An Inter-House Handwriting Competition was conducted at New Heights School for students of Classes 3-12. The event aimed to promote neatness, legibility, and presentation in students’ handwriting. Participants from all houses took part with great enthusiasm, showcasing their writing skills in a timed setting. The competition encouraged students to take pride in their handwriting, and winners were appreciated for their efforts. It was a successful event that blended discipline with creativity.


Science Showdown (Std. 9-12)

The Inter-House Science Showdown titled "House of Experiments" was successfully held for students of classes 9 to 12 on 26th April 2025 at New Heights School, Hardoi showcasing innovation, curiosity, and scientific thinking. Participants from all the four houses-Emerald, Pearl ,Ruby and Sapphire displayed impressive creativity through a series of live experiments, model presentations, and problem-solving challenges.
Each house demonstrated unique scientific concepts, ranging from physics and chemistry to environmental science. The event encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and public speaking, as students explained their experiments to a panel of judges.The Judges praised the participants for their critical thinking, presentation skills, and collaborative spirit.
Overall, the Science Showdown proved to be a fun, engaging, and educational experience, reinforcing New Heights School’s commitment to fostering scientific temper and holistic development in its students
