Career Counseling
Picking the right career is a very difficult decision for any individual, New Heights school with it’s dedicated career counselling team works with students to help them find the best career for them.
Contrary to tradition, there is a need to ask young boys and girls about their career aspirations in a purposeful way from the early years of life and help them with tested programs to make the right choices.
New Heights School offers a variety of career counselling and guidance programs and services to support students’ holistic development.
The guidance program typically begins from the 8th standard to help children start thinking early about their career interests and start making meaningful decisions so that by the time they complete 12th grade there is zero place of confusion and they are confident about their career choices.
Mentorship and Counseling
- Guidance on career choices: Career counselors help students to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and interests, and to explore different career options. They also help students to develop a plan for achieving their career goals.
- Study strategies: Helping students develop effective study strategies, such as time management, note-taking, and test-taking skills.
- Addressing personal challenges: To provide students with support and guidance as they navigate personal challenges, such as stress, anxiety, or family problems.

- Exploring career options: Our Career counsellors help students to explore different career options by providing them with information about different careers, including job descriptions, salary ranges, and educational requirements.
- Developing a career plan: They can help students develop a career plan by identifying their skills and interests, setting goals, and developing a timeline for achieving their goals.
- Preparing for college and careers: Our counsellors help students to prepare for college by helping them write essays, cover letters, and personal statements, and by preparing them for college interviews.
