Basketball

Basketball is a team sport that emphasizes collaboration and collective goal attainment. It instils in players the significance of effective communication, cooperation, and selflessness. Moreover, basketball facilitates the development of physical fitness, coordination, and agility. New Heights School offers basketball teams for boys and girls of diverse skill levels. Our school features a meticulously maintained basketball court that is readily available for student use.

Swimming

Swimming, a comprehensive full-body workout with low impact on joints, enhances cardiovascular health, muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility. It also promotes stress reduction and improves mood.

Recognizing swimming as an essential life skill, New Heights School places significant emphasis on swimming education. Our school features a half Olympic size swimming pool, accompanied by a baby pool, both meticulously maintained year-round.

In 2018, I was chosen to join the football team at Major Dhyanchand Sports College. Since then, I've participated in numerous tournaments at both the state and national levels. It has been an exhilarating experience thus far, filled with memorable matches and exciting opportunities.

Cricket, a bat-and-ball game beloved in many regions worldwide and the favourite sport of India, stimulates quick thinking and sound decision-making under pressure. It enhances hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and patience among its players. Our school features a dedicated cricket ground within the expansive Millennium Park.

Volleyball

Volleyball, a team-oriented sport played on a court divided by a net, contributes to cardiovascular health, muscle strength, endurance, and vertical jumping ability. At New Heights School, our students can enjoy the benefits of volleyball while honing their skills on the expansive Millennium Park court.

Lawn Tennis

Lawn tennis, a racquet sport played by either two or four players, enhances cardiovascular health, muscle strength, endurance, and hand-eye coordination. Students at New Heights School can enjoy our well-maintained tennis court. Additionally, we offer tennis lessons tailored to students’ skill levels.
